Lacrosse Alumni Network

Since the team was originally founded in 1992, there has been a strong sense of camaraderie and friendship amongst its players. As the program continues to grow, so has the desire for more involvement from our alumni. The Lacrosse Alumni Network is an avenue for those who competed at the intercollegiate level, and received degrees from Marymount University, to remain a part of the team and help support the current program.

The mission of the Lacrosse Alumni Network is to support the current lacrosse program through events and fundraisers, as well as foster networking and career development opportunities between the alumni and current students seeking internship or employment opportunities.

Join us in honoring James Shelton:
The Lacrosse Alumni Network established the James Shelton Endowed Scholarship in 2007 to honor the 20 years of loving service James Shelton provided to the university. As an avid sports fan and loyal supporter of Marymount lacrosse, we were saddened when James passed away in 2008. Through this scholarship, James’ memory and support of Marymount will live on! Once endowed, the Shelton scholarship will be awarded to first-year Marymount students who have exemplified leadership qualities through extra-curricular activities and community involvement.

Please help us to reach our goal:
